Individuals have been cloning details and imitating Apse Capital Limited, the Appointed Representative (AR) of GMT Communications Partners LLP, an FCA authorised firm, to suggest they work for or are associated with Apse Capital Limited.

E-mails have been sent to third parties purporting to be from senior managers at apsecapital.com, but on closer inspection of the email, it becomes clear that the origination and reply email addresses used are actually from a domain other than apsecapital.com. If you receive such a request or have received such an email with an address ending in anything other than @apsecapital.com, please notify us promptly and do not respond to it.

You are also advised to contact the FCA Consumer Helpline so that you are given the correct guidance. If you have suffered any loss, you should directly speak to your local law enforcement, in order to ensure that the fraud is investigated by the correct authority.

GMT Communications Partners LLP (GMT) is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Apse Capital Limited (Apse Cap) is the AR of its Principal, GMT.

Apse Capital and its principal, GMT, are aware that there has been an increase across the United Kingdom financial services industry of fraudsters using the names of legitimate authorised firms and/or their representatives, including imitation of identity, literature, and branding. In particular, fraudulent groups have been setting up illegitimate accounts on professional online networks and using these accounts to contact individuals and potential investors.

You need to be aware that if you invest with or invest on the advice or recommendation of a fake unauthorised company, you will lose the protection of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). If you have received anything that appears to be from Apse Capital which you believe may be fraudulent, or you become aware of a purported Apse Capital service that is being used for illicit purposes, then we would very much like to hear from you. Please contact us at compliance@apsecapital.com.

Please note that Apse Capital or GMT will never contact individuals and or investors by phone or email requesting personal details, account information or to make an introduction. If you receive such a request or have received such an email with an address ending in anything other than @apsecapital.com, please notify us promptly and do not respond to it.

Please be aware that both Apse Capital and GMT are not authorised to deal with retail investors and only advise on private equity investments made by Private Funds.
